Getting to Markit@FedSquare
Markit@FedSquare is located in The Atrium and The Edge at Federation Square, Cnr Flinders & Swanston Sts, Melbourne. View map »
There are 4 entry points to Markit@FedSquare
Via The Atrium entrance on Flinders Street next to ACMI;
Via The Square on Swanston St, then down the stairs or lift;
From level 3 of the Federation Square car park (lifts available) and Russell Street, follow the pathway towards The Atrium and The Edge Theatre;
Via Yarra River Terrace off Swanston St, through The Edge Theatre stage doors. (There are stairs and a lift in the The Edge theatre for access between the foyer and the stage areas.)
Cash/credit card/eftpos facilties Credit card and Eftpos facilties
Many of our stall holders have credit card and Eftpos facilities at their stalls. Automatic teller machines are located within Federation Square for cash withdrawals.
Automatic teller machines (ATM'S)
The nearest ATM machine is located inside the Atrium at Federation Square, near the entrance to 'The Edge'. There is also an ATM opposite the Visitor Centre on Swanston St at Federation Square, next to the 7Eleven.
Parking
Federation Square has its own multi-level car park which is accessible from Russell Street or Batman Ave (Exhibition Street extension - City Link). The Federation Square Car Park is open 24hrs and has accessible spaces located next to the lift on each level. View car park rates and opening hours »
Public transport, bicycle or walking
Federation Square is easily accessable by public transport and is only a short walk from Flinders St train station. More info about public transport, bike paths and walking paths »
Access for visitors with disabilities
Federation Square has accessible parking and toilets. There are lifts available within the Atrium and The Edge Theatre.
Wheelchairs and motorised scooters are available for hire from
Travellers Aid at Flinders Street and Southern Cross stations. If you wish to book equipment from these service centres please contact Travellers Aid at Flinders Street Station on 03 9610 2030. You can also book online at Travellers Aid.
Equipment that is pre-booked, at least 24 hours in advance, will also be able to be delivered to Federation Square car park.
Cafes
There are many cafes and restaurants at Federation Square including two inside the Atrium.
Public Toilets
The nearest public toilets and baby-change facilities at Markit@FedSquare are located in The Atrium, next to Kirra Gallery. There are also accessible public toilets and baby-change facilities located in the main square next to Time Out. Many onsite cafes and restaurants also have toilets available for customer use.
