Markit is an indoor event and therefore will operate on the scheduled date regardless of weather.
Markit is a one-day shopping extravaganza held twice a year in The Atrium and Deakin Edge theatre at Federation Square. Now in its 8th year, Markit has become a much-loved event on the Melburnian calendar. See the work of over 80 Australian ceramicists, jewellers, fashion designers, illustrators and more while sampling some of Melbourne's best food and coffee from the new BakeSale pop-up cafe. Sign up here to receive our event newsletter.
Markit has its own cafe area located downstairs in the Deakin Edge Theatre, featuring a selection of our favourite local food icons Black Star Pastry, All Day Donuts, Sensory Lab Coffee, Ace Cookies, 5&Dime Bagel and Hunted+Gathered Chocolate. There is plenty of seating available where shoppers can relax and refuel. More details here. »
